Nous sommes venus au collège le 20 mars pour une journée d'immersion et nous avons travaillé avec les sixièmes en SVT et Physique-Chimie.

La classe de CM2 de l'école Condorcet
SVT with M. Ghienne
We worked on the scales of living.
The name of the plant was a daffodil.
The plant was composed of four parts : the root, the onion, the leaf and the flower.
We observed the organism (the plant), the organ (the leaf), and the cell (a celle of the root)
With our eyes, we observed the plant.
With the magnifying glass, we observed the leaf.
With the microscope, we observed the cell.
We liked this and we want to do it next year !
Chemistry with Mme CHENEY
In chemistry, we experimented to know if a liquid is acid, neutral or basic.
We used red cabbage, hot water, a jar, three test tubes, white vinegar, water, sodium bicarbonate and a pipette.
How to prepare red cabbage tea ? First we cut the red cabbage into small pieces Second, we put the pieces in the big jar with hot water. Third, we used only the liquid and we called it red cabbage tea.
Prepare three test tubes : The first test tube with white vinegar. The second test tube with water. The third test tube with water and sodium bicarbonate. Add cabbage tea in the three test tubes.
In the first test tube, the liquid turned pink because it's an acid.
In the second test tube, the liquid turned purple because it's neutral.
In the third test tube, the liquid turned turquoise blue or green because it's basic.
